History + character:
We met Pirate in July 2019 in Veterinum clinic in Ulcinj, when we were visiting some of our patients on the day we left for transport. The vet showed us Pirate, said someone brought her in and that she was a victim of a car accident. If no one comes forward to help her, she would be euthanized. We made an emergency appeal and thanks to you, our sponsors, we were able to save her life. Meanwhile Pirate is completely ready to travel.

Pirate reminds us on a fox or wolf, on the outside as well as inside. She is not older than 3 year and currently lives at a wonderful foster place with about 10 other dogs and many many cats. She is good with both. Pirate for sure would love a good run in a garden and we believe she can be quite active when she blossoms. Pirate is nervous from nature so she is looking for a patient family to win her trust. Once she trusts you, she will reward you with her love and loyalty. A stable other dog from who she can learn and with whom she can play would be a great help. Also a quiet environment is a plus. So far she doesn’t show signs of fear for cars, but in very busy traffic the horrible memory might come back. Pirate is a small medium size and currently weighs 12kg. She is a little chubby and has lovely curls.

Good with:
– dogs: yes
– cats: yes
– children: not tested
